Just because you have equity to use as collateral, if you have a really bad credit rating they (the loan specialist) will always try and give you sub-prime rate. Let&#039;s face it the banks just want to make as much profit as possible.</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve been using the Internet this past week looking for a sub prime loan but the banks keep asking if I have home equity. I thought that sub prime means you are getting an unsecured loan. 

As long as the bank has security we should be getting a prime loan right????</description>
